Brian is starting his 5th season with AllStars with his primary focus being the position of catcher. He works with boys and girls, developing them – from the basic fundamentals to the most advanced techniques.
A Shaker High School graduate, Brian continued his playing career at Schenectady County Community College and finally ended up at St Rose. After a career-ending injury while at St Rose, Brian began his coaching days assisting at Albany High School and with summer elite travel teams. He handled the Assistant GM’s position for the Florence Red Wolves of the Coastal Plains Collegiate Baseball League in South Carolina. He was also the GM of the Schenectady Mohawks when they were in the NYCBL. Most recently, he was the assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at HVCC and has been an Associate Scout for both the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers organizations.
I have been training and teaching at All Stars Academy for several years now and have seen firsthand how Mike’s hitting and pitching
programs improve a player’s performance. It is important to train and work on specific skills in the game of baseball, but more important to bring these skills into a game situation. Mike’s programs train you to be a better player and then test your skills in a game situation. This in my opinion is the only
way to become a better player.
