is a program designed to provide a fun and exciting environment for kids to play indoor baseball and softball. It is a structured program for players between 6 and 13 years old. The games will take place on our 17,500 sq ft field and will be officiated by Academy staff but coached by the players. The kids will organize themselves and rotate positions every inning as Academy staff supervises and umpires the games.
Each team can have a minimum of 7 players and maximum of 9 on their roster. Rosters can be filled with your friends or individuals and small groups will be partnered with others to create a team.

There will be 4 Divisions of Sand Lot:
5 & 6 year old 10u
7 & 8 year olds 12u
9 & 10 year olds 14u
11 to 13 year olds 16u
The games themselves will be timed (1 hour) not played in a 6 inning format. This will keep the pace of play fast and each inning exciting. A conventional 3 out format will be followed as well as “Sand Lot” rules introduced. The Academy staff member will throw each pitch using a special indoor ball designed for safety during the BASEBALL games and a pitching machine will be used for the SOFTBALL games. There will be no walking in order to help create an “offensive” environment! All players present will play a defensive position with the catcher standing off to the side away from the hitter for safety. The games being played by the 6 & 7 year old division will have 2 Academy staff members assigned to each game. They will take an extremely active role as coaches to ensure all the players have a fun and exciting experience each week. The Competitive DIVISION teams will keep records, have playoffs and a Championship Game. Adult coaches will be optional.

Once we receive your registration, a confirmation E-Mail will be returned to you. The Parent Contact for each player / team will be notifed of the time and day for their first game with a phone call. A schedule for your season will be distributed at the Check-In table before your first game.
TUITION: The cost per player for Sand Lot will be $95. All players will receive a Sand Lot tee shirt at check-in of their first game. A $25 per player or $100 per team deposit is required.
I would like to take the time to thank you and all your staff for the opportunity that you have given my children. The learning atmosphere and outstanding facility have had tremendous impact on the level of play of both my children. After last years class my son pitched his first inning with 10 pitches and struck out the side. My daughter finished her season with a batting average of .880. I cannot wait until this season.
